Robin Quivers is interviewed on CBS Sunday Morning This is the segment Howard Stern spoke about during the first 20 minutes of his show on 5/12/2009. Robin can be seen at the :23 1:58 and 8:10 marks and Dr. Roni can be seen at the 1:08 mark. Robin Quivers talks about the detox diet known as “21 Pounds in 21 Days: The Martha’s Vineyard Diet Detox” and how she went on the Master Cleanse after hearing Magician David Blaine rave about it on her show. Robin credits the Master Cleanse for her 70 pound weight loss, and renewed health. Here’s What Robin Had to Say About the Master Cleanse in a interview for People Magazine: “This is my way of life now,” she says. “I don’t ever want to feel the way I felt ever again.” “This wasn’t about weight loss,” says Quivers, who traces her health problems to steroid-based medication that she took in 1989…”I was really trying to regain my health, and that’s what it did.” “She’s a whole different person, “says Howard Stern producer Gary Dell’Abate, “I’ve been with her 20 years, and I’ve never seen her this happy and confident.” From the Boston Globe: Stern sidekick takes up on-air detox diet We expect Howard Stern and sidekick Robin Quivers to discuss body functions on their SIRIUS XM satellite radio show. But expect to hear even more now that Quivers is undergoing a 21-day detox diet on-air with help from Roni DeLuz and James Hester. DeLuz, who wrote “21 Pounds in 21 Days: The Martha’s Vineyard Diet Detox,” is staying in Quivers’s apartment …

@bleugate You, not surprisingly, have completely missed the point. You can get protein from loads of other non-animal sources: asparagus, beans, artichokes, broccoli, beans, brussel sprouts, cabbage, collards, corn, kohlrabi, onion, bell peppers, romain lettuce, spinach, summer squash, sweet potatoes, not to mention nuts and seeds as well as fruit. Sure, you have to eat more of them, but it is protein nonetheless. Loads of ‘body builders’ end up with major health issues due to their diet.
@themaker03
You retard, thats years of evolution and genetic disposition. Go lay in your yard for a year eating grass…send me the pics of what happens.Vegans+Bodybuilding dont mix…unless you consider a 120lb weakling, “Bodybuilding”.
@CarsNe1
That was a well thought out, very intelligent response.
@bleugate QUIT CRYING
you sound like such a little bitch cry baby. Go cry to your mom.
@bleugate: You don’t need to eat animal protein to get protein! You can get lots of protein from a large number of vegetables. The silverback gorilla shares 98-99% of their DNA with humans and they eat 16 lbs of ‘greens’ a day and they are PURE MUSCLE! Cows (before farming and the food industry became corrupt and started feeding cows grain) ate grass to grow big and strong. A successful body builder very often has a really screwed up diet. Poor choice as an example.
Robin Quivers fuckin kills me when she opens her mouth
Dr. Francious is being paid to lie
Robin looks great for a nearly 60 year old woman,she looks better now that she did in the late 80′s.
Good for her,whatever she’s doing keep it up.
Oh and to all you troglodyte,racist,fuck-wits,please go kill yourself,I implore you.
Robin Quivers is an unfunny ignorant ugly fat black CUNT.I hate her,
CACKLING UNFUNNY NO TALENT CUNT.
P.S. This is a great diet if you wanna melt away any hard earned muscle. You dumb vegans. A good percentage of the weight lost doing this is going to be muscle. Go sit down with any Successful bodybuilder and learn their diet…man or woman.
Any “diet” is bogus. It comes down to just eating properly and eating to how your body needs you to eat. A well balanced routine of Protein, Carbs and Fats will get you there. Women in general use “Diets” as crutches, then blame them when they dont work. Or fall off, because they go so extreme. People in america are so stupid and will always blame something else besides their own will power, and just not eat that fatass bagel or donut. Stop blaming your age, genetics or whatever it is. Do it!
juicing dark green vegtables and fruits works, i was very strong before i juiced, now im double as strong and i breathe alot better , a 3 hour workout is so easy not much effort at all
wow…she looks amazing for 56!
I believe it’s genetic. I remember seeing the show in the late 80s and looking at her now. She has small pores, a small-ish nose, a full face, small ears, high cheeks, and protruding forehead. That, in additon to earning an income that affors her a measure of lifestyle choices is what contributes to the way she looks now. 50% is attitude and at least 25% is genetics, while the rest is creature comforts related to her income…
Robin is HOT!
BA BA BOOEY!
just to let you know, im 6’2 feet and 210 pound, im not overweight or defender of fat people, however what you said isnt true, since you can build your heart stronger with exercise. however, much is genetic, had a fat reletive who turned 98 (obviously she wasnt fat in her later years) and a thinner one who died of heart attack at 50,who was thin, but that person lived a stressful life and smoked etc.
I doubt that…. A person that is overweight puts more of a strain on their heart as opposed to a person that is not overweight. Yes, it is great that one is working out, but I would not dare say that individual that is overweight is healthier than one that is not. Oh and yes one does feel better (dare I say healthier) once one loses weight.
I think she runs a lot. I’ve seen her recently and she looks pretty darn good for a 50+ year old woman
I’ve seen her recently. I thought she looked really good
Wow! Thanks for the great words. I wanna try it. Gotta work on that will power thing first
@elanarab
She does look really good, doesn’t she! I’ll try that book she uses….21lbs in 21 days.
